Cookie Policy

Detailed information about the use of cookies and similar technologies on this site, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian cookie regulations (Privacy Authority decision of 8 May 2014 and subsequent guidelines).

Ultimo aggiornamento: marzo 2025.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit. They allow the site to store information (e.g. preferences, login status) for a single session or for subsequent visits.

“Similar technologies” means mechanisms that allow storing or reading information on the device, such as the browser local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage). On this site, we use localStorage to save your cookie preference (acceptance, rejection or blocking) without setting an additional cookie for this single choice.

2. Cookies and technologies used on this site

2.1 Strictly necessary (technical) cookies

These cookies are essential for the proper functioning of the site and for the security of operations. They do not require your consent under applicable regulations.

NamePurposeDurationType
ci_session Maintains the session state (e.g. login, shopping cart/checkout contents). Without this cookie, it would not be possible to access the reserved area or complete the purchase flow consistently. Approximately 2 hours (session) or until browser closure, depending on configuration. Session cookie / first party
csrf_cookie_name Contains a token used to protect forms from CSRF attacks (Cross-Site Request Forgery). It ensures that submitted requests (login, registration, message sending, payment) come from our site. Approximately 2 hours. Technical cookie / first party

2.2 Preferences (cookie consent)

We do not use a cookie to store your cookie choice. We use the browser localStorage with key cookie_consent, which can take the following values:

  • accept – you have accepted all cookies (at this time the site does not use profiling cookies or third-party analytics; the choice is saved for consistency with the banner).
  • reject – you have rejected non-essential cookies.
  • block – you have chosen to block all non-essential cookies.

This information remains in your browser until you delete site data or click “Manage preferences” and choose again. The cookie banner will be shown again on the next visit if the preference is removed.

2.3 Cookies and third-party resources

Some pages of the site load resources (fonts, icons, scripts) from external domains. Accessing these resources may involve sending requests to third-party servers (e.g. IP address, browser type, and referring page). Third parties may set their own cookies or process data according to their respective privacy notices. Below is a list of relevant providers:

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) – font delivery. Google may collect data according to the Google Privacy Policy. To reduce data transfer, you can use extensions or settings that block requests to Google Fonts.
  • Cloudflare (cdnjs) (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) – distribution of CSS/JavaScript libraries (e.g. Font Awesome, jQuery, GSAP). Cloudflare may process data according to its Privacy Policy. These are usually static resources; the CDN may use cookies for load balancing or security.

When you choose to pay with Stripe or PayPal, you are redirected to the pages of the respective provider (stripe.com or paypal.com). On those sites, the cookies and privacy notices of Stripe and PayPal apply; we do not control or have access to those cookies. For details, see:

  • Stripe – Privacy Policy
  • PayPal – Informativa sulla privacy

This site does not use profiling cookies for advertising and, in the current configuration, does not use third-party analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics). In case of future integration of analytics tools, the Cookie Policy will be updated and consent will be requested where required by law.

3. How to manage cookies and preferences

3.1 Banner and “Manage preferences” link

On the first visit (or when no preference is stored), a banner is shown that lets you:

  • Accept all – confirm acceptance of cookies (and, where present, non-essential cookies).
  • Reject non-essential – allow only strictly necessary cookies.
  • Block all – do not allow cookies beyond strictly necessary ones; the “block all” choice is stored in localStorage so the banner is not shown again until you change the preference.

At any time you can change your choice by clicking the “Manage cookie preferences” link (available in the site footer or in the banner, if visible). The banner will be shown again and you can select a different option.

3.2 Browser settings

You can also manage or delete cookies from your browser settings. Below are links to instructions for the most common browsers:

  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Edge

Disabling or deleting technical cookies (e.g. session, CSRF) may affect site functionality (e.g. inability to log in or submit forms). To delete the cookie preference stored in localStorage as well, you can delete site data for this domain from your browser settings.

4. Summary and contacts

We use strictly necessary cookies for session and security; cookie preferences are stored in localStorage. Resources loaded from Google Fonts and Cloudflare CDN may involve third-party processing. Payments via Stripe or PayPal are subject to cookies and policies of those services.

For questions about this Cookie Policy or personal data, you can contact us from the Contact page or consult our Privacy Policy.
